Because that’s what girls play.
The mission for SeeJaneDrum.com is to be the world’s best online community for inspiring, empowering, and gaining visibility for female drummers.
Our vision is a world in which drums are not just for boys, the contributions of female drummers are recognized, and opportunities are available equally to women and men in the drumming community.
To support that vision, SeeJaneDrum.com will:
- - provide educational content targeted for all skill levels and personal/ professional goals
- - actively promote female drummers to the media in order to gain visibility in both advertising and professional opportunities
- - provide community website features to connect female drummers
- - consolidate drumming industry news so that our members have easy access to the pulse of the drumming world
- - take an active role in raising awareness of the importance of music education in our schools
- - inspire young women to play drums, breaking down the barriers of gender stereotypes
- - continually incorporate feedback from our members to provide the services and information they need to reach their goal

Wow. I must say, the mission and vision of this site is excellent and encouraging.
Although not a Jane myself, I’m a huge believer that women need (and deserve!) more recognition in the drum community. I’m very encouraged by the quality of info and content on this site. Well done, keep up the great work, and keep drumming!

This is amazing!! I’ve been drumming for almost three years now and i am barely learning half of the stuff that is mentioned here. This website is of such great help!! I just got my first drum set, and I’m definitely going to visit this site a lot for tips. Peace n love!
